About Stephen Milner
I am Stephen Milner, a photographer based near Holmfirth in the Holme Valley, West Yorkshire.
I began photographing seriously in 2007. My work centres on landscape and place, from the Pennine countryside around Holmfirth to villages, coastlines and locations encountered on my travels across Britain.
I am particularly drawn to weather, changing light, water, stone and the ways people leave their mark on both natural and built environments. I look for atmosphere and character rather than trying to present an idealised view of a place.
High Orbit Photography brings together a developing, carefully edited body of work. Selected photographs are being prepared for print, and enquiries about individual images are welcome.
